Pieces of San Francisco
This garden incorporates some of the best of the west. Recycled cobblestones from a San Francisco street create retaining walls. The steps are made from railroad ties dating back to the gold rush era. The story goes that this black walnut tree once provided nuts to the Ghirardelli Chocolate factory. A section of a pier washed up on Ocean Beach. It now forms the lower retaining wall and sitting area.
